Most of the German WW-II Navy Kriegsmarine Enigmas went down with their ships and are now in rather poor condition after 60+ years on the bottom of the ocean. Here is an example of a marine Enigma that was recovered from a submarine off the East coast of the United States in 2001.
As you can see, there is relatively little left of this historic cipher machine.
